About the Creator user type

Transform your data into web maps that answer questions and encourage exploration using ArcGIS Online, Esri's software-as-a-service (SaaS) mapping software. The Creator user type license is the way to get started with ArcGIS Online. It gives you the ability to collaboratively build maps and apps, perform spatial analysis, collect data, and share your story. You can also use a variety of powerful apps. GIS specialists, asset managers, and data journalists are likely to find the Creator user type a good fit for their job responsibilities. The Creator is a foundational user type, which means it can administer ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise and can be purchased independently or paired with other user types.

Create and manage 2D and 3D location data
